Ms. Faye Jacobs, 2006 - 2009

Faye Ellece Jacobs is a dynamic speaker, facilitator and presenter. A banker by profession, she has studied Banking & Finance and International Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour.

She has held senior executive positions in major Caribbean Banks and has continue to use her expertise to serve the region’s banking and financial services sector.

Key areas of expertise are in Loan Underwriting, Credit Controls and Credit Risk Management, Management of Non-performing and Performing Loan Portfolios and Loan Security Documentation. Her contribution to the sector in the rehabilitation of problems loans and the strategic management of non-performing loan portfolios have resulted in quantifiable results to the region’s financial services sector.

She has developed and conducted workshops and seminars throughout the entire Caribbean region for several banks and has trained over 1000 lenders and credit personnel from over 50 institutions since 2000.  She is the founding Director of Caribbean Integrated Financial Services Ltd., a company committed to delivering first world training and value-added support services to the region’s financial sector.

Her expertise is well recognised and she has addressed regional and international conferences on issues faced by the Caribbean Indigenous Banking Sector.

She recently addressed the Caribbean Association of Indigenous banks at their 35th. Annual Conference on the Management of Non-Performing loans in a crisis environment.

She has also been published in the European Bank Training Network Magazine. She is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (London) and a Fellow of the IFS School of Finance (London) and has been accredited by the Universities of the West Indies and London.
