Mrs. Marjorie Seeberan, 2008 - 2012

Mrs. Seeberan holds an MBA in Finance from New York University and a BSc. in Economics from the University of the West Indies.

Mrs. Seeberan has been General Manager of NCB’s Corporate Banking Division since its inception in 2002, where growth in the Bank’s ‘blue chip’ loan portfolio has increased from J$4 billion to J$61 billion. Mrs. Seeberan actively leads all large and complex loan transactions with a team of highly skilled professionals who handle approximately 80% of all large Jamaican Corporates.

Prior to her current position, she completed a 25-year career with what is now J.P. Morgan in New York. As Senior Vice President there, she demonstrated similar skills in successfully arranging multi-billion corporate finance transactions that were worthy of media attention.

Mrs. Seeberan also served as the Executive Director of the UWI’s Business Development office at Mona. In this role, she not only created this new Office, but effectively introduced the Campus to various income-producing projects including the highly popular Mona Visitors’ Lodge which she designed, developed and operated before being recruited by NCB.
