Mr. Warren McDonald, 3rd VICE PRESIDENT Warren Albert McDonald studied at The University of the West Indies where he obtained an Honours Degree in Economics. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, United Kingdom (U.K.) and also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica. He attended several senior executive management programmes, including programmes at:• Harvard Graduate School of Business – USA – Financial Management • Columbia Graduate School of Business – USA – Marketing Management • Cranfield School of Management – U.K. – General Management Mr. McDonald is a Justice of the Peace and Lay Magistrate for the Parish of Kingston, Jamaica. He has served on the Committee (Manufacturing), set up by the Government to formulate National Industrial Policy (NIP) – a 10 year Plan for the Country. Mr. McDonald is currently a Director of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce and in 2008 was elected 3rd Vice President of that institution. Mr. McDonald is Chairman of the Board of the Portmore Community College, a tertiary institution with a student body of over 2000, serving the fastest growing community in the Caribbean; and he is also: • Director of the Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited – the largest and most profitable Bank in Jamaica. Mr. McDonald has been Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Berger Paints Jamaica, the largest manufacturer and distributor of paints in the English-speaking Caribbean, for the past 14 years (appointed February 1994); having served as Berger Paints Jamaica’s Chief Financial Officer, and Company Secretary for the previous 13 years.
